About Dongda Li

Hello! I’m Dongda Li — or 李东达, as written in Chinese. My online handle is dongdongbh. I worked on reinforcement learning and Neural Combinatorial Optimization (NCO), and recently I am working on computer vision and vision-language models (VLMs) — all rooted in statistical learning.

My background bridges Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. I also have a strong background in UAVs and robotics, which belong to the field of Autonomous Systems.

I build and contribute to open-source software, including Mindwtr, the free, local-first task app I created for the Getting Things Done workflow. I wrote about why I built Mindwtr and its recent progress.
